Shave Vs. Punch Workshop

This interactive hands-on session is designed for the allergist to learn how and when to perform punch and shave biopsies. This will include proper shave techniques, procedural coding, selection of appropriate patients for each type of biopsy, selection of an appropriate lesion and site for the highest diagnostic yield, a review of the materials and transport media and how to interpret the report from the dermatopathologist to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Saturday, October 25th, 3 - 4:30 PM.
